Absolutely brilliant service, laptop stopped working in the morning, tried to get it back up and running as teaching remotely, no luck so thought would try them! Best decision I could have made, they booked me straight in, I took it up and within a few hours I had it back, all sorted. They couldn’t have done enough to help, extremely reasonable price for sorting it and it is literally as good as new!
If you have any tech issues, these are your people!

These guys are great. I took in my Samsung phone that wouldn't even turn on and for which the Samsung shop in Leeds were useless and told me it would be an expensive repair to the main board. These guys took a proper look at it and it turned out is was the battery which they sorted and saved me a more expensive repair. I will definitely be going back to these guys in future 5🌟

Went today to have my well loved switch fixed. Unfortunately the sd card reader had failed much to the disappointment of my children.
The gents in store clean and replaced the card reader were extremely knowledge and very helpful. The switch now works perfectly again. All done for a very reasonable price.
They were also very aware of covid safety and cleaned and sanitised everything which I was really impressed with.
We are very lucky to have such a great shop and service available to us in Clowne and I’d recommend your services.

I took my daughters hp laptop in last week after discovering the insurance I pay through curry's doesn't cover accidental damage and I was told by hp it would cost close to £500. £500 for a new lcd screen. That was more than what we paid for the laptop itself from curry's!
A friend recommended Your Local Tech Store and I'm so thrilled that she did.
I went in and the 2 gentleman were lovely and friendly and said it was an easy fix.
It cost me £100 and was done within a week.
Went to pick it up today and the bloke actually apologised for it taking so long.
I'm over the moon with the speedy and professionalism of this company and would 100% recommend going here with any technological issues

After seeing some posts on Facebook for here I contacted them and spoke to Luke he said he could do it no problem , waited just a couple of days for part to be ordered then I dropped off and it was ready same day

A friend took my Acer 10" tablet (that had been in a cupboard at least 6 months since it just suddenly stopped working). She was taking hers in anyway and as I'm disabled and housebound with chronic health problems she offered to drop mine in too. I rang the guys and explained exactly what I thought the problem was......imagine how I felt when they rang the next day to explain there was nothing wrong with the tablet: the charger was broken!! How stupid did I feel?!! 😊 He went on to say they had put me a new charger in the box and that it would be dropped back off to me at home for no charge. They were thorough, courteous, kind & knowledgeable & went out of their way to help me despite wanting no payment at all. I fear this would have been a totally different story had I taken it into PC World or similar!!! I will be recommending Local Tech Store to anyone that mentions to me they have problems with any form of technology from now on. Another small business that most definitely goes above & beyond for their customers........thank you SO MUCH for everything, Di x
